Hey Inigo, Your English is better than my Chinese. If you are going to do macro shots how about getting a Canon ringlight? The Canon ringlight has the advantage of flat even lighting for extreme close ups without shadow and also has modeling lights for focus and composition that can be hard to setup without. There is one on eBay right now and has no bidders and is pretty inexpensive. Look here: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1301755376&r=0&t=0&sh owTutorial=0&ed=1007071697&indexURL=0&rd=1 I'm pretty certain you can use straight TTL with the off camera shoe cord with any EOS body that supports TTL flash metering. TTL is actually pretty reliable for the most part. I don't know how well it works for macro shots though. If you are going to use a pair of flash heads for the macro shots get a couple of 12"-18" diffusers to place in front of (12" or so), the flash units, unless you want hard shadows and specular highlights. Hope this helps.
