Hi Folks, I have a chance of buying a 300mm f/2.8 L Mark I lens and will be viewing it on Saturday afternoon. What I need to know is there a Mark II and, if so, what are the differences between them.
The seller is a sports photog and he assures that the lens is in great condition, body and glass. He has owned it from new for about 4 years and has never had any faults and has been serviced twice by Canon UK. For those wondering why an unemployed person is even thinking about this, I have a 'cunning' plan (or maybe not, as the case may be) to invest part of my redundancy payment.
