Hi Alex, Do you see a "canister" icon but no numbers appear in the frame counter? This could be as simple as "end-of-roll" or a film mis-load.
Push the mid-roll rewind button, then open the back and remove any film. Close the back (without any film), set the camera to P, then push the shutter release button before trying to reload the camera. Let us know if this helps.
