Hi Miha,

I think Evrim recently posted a situation with this Sigma flash, his broke almost 
immediately after opening the box.  I don't recall if he actually got to use it or 
what the results were with it though.  If money is an issue why not just buy a nice 
used one?  Third party product designers are rarely privy to all of the important 
design info of the OE camera maker and as such often start at a great disadvantage 
compared to the OE brand.  This is NOT always the case, but why not just be happy with 
a known good product?  The listed features are not all there is to a product like a 
flash.  The electronic interaction of the flash and camera body is complex, even Canon 
with full knowledge of the EOS flash system has not got it right 100% so I doubt that 
a third party maker can get it as good as the OE maker.  The price difference is not 
that great if buying a used 550EX.
