Thanks for good ideas, Bill

What's the expected number of shots with one battery in ST-E2?

I have used monopod so that I attach the flash meter
in one end of it with a rubber band and then hold it vertically
so that the flash meter is where I want it to be. Gives me about
1.5 meters (5 feet) more reach.
But I don't know if the reflections from the monopod effect the
measurements sometimes.

Using a tripod was not possible in that case.

Great idea, have to remember this one!
Instead of wired remote trigger for the camera (I have about
20 meters, 67 feet, selfmade extension) I could also use the
10 second selftimer. In total darkness and in water using
wires is not that nice and easy.

But I believe I will in any case get the ST-E2 for me for other
uses so I could use it as a flash remote controller in addition
to the normal use.
