That should be simple once you'll know how much money you want to invest and what exactly do you need.
For amateur photography, Elan7[e] will do more than fine. It's quite heavier, made out of aluminium,.. etc and has some more features like 4fps, custom functions... If you want more ruggedness, see Chips post.
