I use Tiffen Warm Soft fx 3, and happy with it. Many people will tell you to use a black ladies stocking stretched over the lens.

I also have a question, do they work better at say, f2.8 or f8? thanks! > -----Original Message----- > From: Gary Russell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, February 18, 2002 10:49 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: EOS Re: OT Best softener? > > > ----Original Message----- > From: Trieu, Ethan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > >Whats the best filter to very subtly soften a portrait?
