I download the raw files through a CF card reader on my desktop (or use the PCMCIA adapter and download onto the laptop), and then use Bibble to convert to tiff. Another software is BreezeBrowser, but I think Bibble might be tad faster; it is bit "buggy" (read: inconvenient to use) in the batch processing UI. Mind you, I still get my resulting tiff files. A Photoshop action converts tiff to psd. As you can see, I go nowhere near Canon's poor excuse of a download software. For "Archiving" I burn the raw files (and selected psd files) onto CD using xcdroast. Although, I haven't done that lately, that's probably why all my disks reach their capacity ;-) Lars -- Lars Michael [EMAIL PROTECTED] 87GT http://www.larsmichael.com/ * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
