It's not new, or is there really a new version ofthe 50mm f/1.0?
If it's worth it? If you need to have the f/1.0 aperture, then
probably yes. If you can live without it, the f/1.4 or f/1.8 
is much better value for the money and easier to work with,
especially the 50/1.8 Mk I and the 50/1.4. The f/1.0 is not better
compared at the same aperture than these lenses. It's just much 
bigger and heavier and a little bit more expensive.
