Hi Grethe,

The 3 is a good camera that should cause you no problems. I have one that I
use as a back up, as well as for travel trips on my motorbikes - on road and
off road. I generally carry the body + 28 -135IS + 20/2.8 + flash in a
backpack and have done some pretty rugged trips in tough terrrain and
conditions. None of the gear has let me down at all. My only beef with the 3
is that you cannot trust the battery check led at all and it has cost me a
few photos over the years. The one in the 1v is a far better proposition.
I don't see why any of your other gear wouldn't work with the 3 but I will
leave a more definitive answer to the propeller heads in the group  :^)
