Hi

I'd like to know if it is possible to use the Canon EF 16-35/2.8 L lens with
a protective filter at the 16mm end without causing vigneting? I usually use
Nikon NC filters on my lenses. I like them because they are absolutely
neutral, multi-coated and just 4mm thick when threaded. However I fear they
won't be slim enough for the 16-35. I know Hoya manufactures slim filters
(3mm thick). It seems B+W also makes slim filters. As anyone has had any
experience with them? What other brands should I consider? What about
polarizer filters? Are slim polarizers slim enough to use with this lens?
Thanks

Regards

Hugo
