Hello everyone: I have an EOS1 and it has a custom function that allows to leave a film leader out whenever the roll is rewound. I think this function will help me a lot since I will be able to exchange rolls at any time for later completion, for example to switch from B&W to color at any moment.
The problem is that I don't know and can't find in the manual nor Hove guide how to continue using a partially exposed roll. When I put it back in the body it treats it as if it was a new roll, starting from frame 1. Someone suggested me to set the camera to its fastest shutter speed (1/8000 s), leave the lens cap on and "take the pictures" in order to force the film to advance. Please educate.
