George, I belive Olympus Stylus Epic w/ a 35mm 2.8 fixed lens is the best 35mm P&S camera. Quality that it brings amazes. Portable, with a high quality lens, possibly many controls for AF, shutter speed and/or apperture, flash. I was thinking Ricoh GR1. Maybe something cheaper? Any ideas? George
