I had the camera strap around my neck, and was supporting the lens with my
right hand.

The only other place that I was contacting the camera was my wrist was
occasionally touching the bottom right-hand corner of the PB-E2. That's
right, just where the vertical release is. What a plonker.

The only downside is that I have realised that I cannot carry a 70-200 f2.8
(IS or not) around for very long.
Perhaps Canon will bring out a 70-200 f4 IS for us wimps :-))
