Hi Lee, I agree, I have been tracking EOS prices for several years and IMO it's primarily the slow economy that is the cause for soft EOS prices even on "L" lenses and pro class (EOS 1v, EOS 1n and EOS 3), film bodies. The promises and proliferation of (relatively speaking anyway), cheap P&S digital cameras being thrown out on the marketplace along with the simultaneous availability of cheap wet prints from digital files at major retail chains across the USA is also to blame. Don't worry, prices will be going back up as soon as you sell your formerly expensive equipment!
