Are you using a PB-E1 or BP-E1? I just got a BP-E1 a couple of months ago but my 1n hasn't shown any signs of battery drain. A 2cr5 lasts for 30 rolls or so at about 10 rolls a month, the AAs seem to last about 1/2 that.
