In a humorous vein, I noticed this blurb in today's newsletter
from
Robert's Imaging:
"Super news from Canon! They have dropped the price on the
Canon EOS-1D digital SLR. Call us for details"
If the 1Ds does to the 1D price what the D60 did to the D30, it might
be that one could soon buy a very nice 1D for $2500, which would in turn
depress the D60 market..........and so on.
I'm beginning to think I'll pick up a D30 as a backup for the D60,
the
price may be below $1000 before EOY.
