I think a 6x7cm sensor would be far too expensive even if you stitch
multiple smaller sensors and when you can get around and accept dead pixels
(which can easily be replaced with SW). In other words, for one-shot cameras
I do not see any compelling reason why to go digital with MF cameras. I see
the current digital one-shot MF backs as a temporary superior solution to
35mm digital cameras and as a transition to protect big investments in MF
cameras and lenses. In the long term (>10 years) MF might take the place of
Large Format and 35mm the place somewhere between 35mm and MF. Just my 2
cents (not worth a lot these days...;))
