Would someone explain something to me? I do not understand why I should have to put my flash (550 EX) into high speed sync mode manually. Why can't it just automatically sync to any shutter speed I set, since it has the capability to anyway? Why should I have to stop and push buttons on the flash unit? Just doesn't seem logical to me.
