Ken~ I'm using the D60 for professional shoots with Dynalite strobes. I had problems with the pop-up flash on the D60 not triggering the strobes in slave mode, but with a sync cord all is fine. That might be why the school photographer was using the radio slaves...
The 35-350 lens for that kind of work sounds insane :) Can't imagine how he would do group shots since a 35mm lens on the D60 is equivalent to about a 50mm.
