I'm a little afraid of using the micro-drive cards because I have dropped my
CompactFlash cards once or twice. That was an annoyance but doing the same
thing with a micro-drive could be a disaster.

I asked him again about the static electricity thing, and he's really
not quite sure what happened, but siad he'd heard of others having the
problem. He said he took the microdrive out of the camera, and then
walked up a couple of stories to where the computer was to load it
into a reader. I asked, "as opposed to what?" to which he replied,
"taking the camera to the computer and pulling the microdrive right
there. " So he thinks possibly static from carpets or something may
have caused the microdrive to crash, but really isn't sure.
