The L-358 looks like the one I'll go for. I'll probably (like Henry suggested) spring for the wireless transmitter card as well ($25), though it may be a while before I step up to a pocket wizard set-up with monolights and all. In the mean time, if only Canon would come up with a replacement for the ST-E2 that would give you the same control over the wireless set-up (manual control and all) as an 550EX mounted on the camera, that would save me some cord work to operate the flashes manually. Also, thanks for the advice about metering each flash individually. Makes sense. I've got lots to learn about studio lighting set-up; even if it just for amateur portraits for fun.
