Don't forget that there are two 20-35 EF lenses. One is EF 20-35 F2.8L and tho other one is EF 20-35 F3.5-4.5. The former one is discontinued I guess, but you can buy it used at about 500 US, the latter is about 300 US. Both have full time manual focus. The former one is a preceedor of 17-35L lens.
I would be also very interesting in how people like EF 20-35 F3.5-4.5, as it is only reasonable (considering price) alternative of standard zoom for D60 I see.
