The "bees" are actually one and the same, it just moved around, and it was not much more than 3/8 of an inch in length. D30 with 100 macro USM. When I focused on the bee, the center part of the flower was not in focus, and when I focused on the flower, the bee would be blurry. Photoshop saved the day - not perfect but looks ok as a postcard.
