If that is a 1, and not a 1n or 1v, there are some features missing that your 5 has, but mainly it only has 1 AF sensor in the center, as opposed to the 5's 5 sensors. I have both an A2 (US 5 without eye control) and a 1n, and the 1n is the only body I'd consider giving up my A2 for. The solidity of the 1 is nice but there are other factors involved, speed of AF, fps is similar, even with the booster on the 1 IIRC.
