I have an old EF 35-105 push pull zoom that's a great lens, but has one surface inside slightly cloudy it seems. Rather than throw it out, I'd love to be able to open it up enough to clean that lens surface.
I took the rear end off easily enough with a few screws, but was greeted by a mess of electronics, etc. I could not see any way to get any further into the lens. I think the cloudy element is close to the rear of th lens. Does anyone know any more about dismantling these lenses? Is there a secret set of screws under a rubber ring that I missed? Do I have to completely take the lens apart? Do I have to remove from the front end with a special tool? * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
