Subject: EOS Raw exposure comp v. higher/lower ISO speed

Hi Craig,

I adjust the ISO speed when, for example, I am shooting Provia for magazine
reproduction which requires lighter images ( I shoot Provia 100 at ISO 64. I
do the same sort of thing with other films based on experience.

I use the exposure comp. for frame by frame adjustments to suit specific
lighting or subject conditions, such as backlighting or predominantly
white/black subjects.

This has always worked well for me as I have set my base exposure for a
particular shoot using the ISO adjustment and then add exp. comp. on top of
that as needed during the job. I generally bracket the more important static
shots at two thirds anyway so have never really had exposure problems.

Regards, Tim
