I do the same sort of thing with other films based on experience. I use the exposure comp. for frame by frame adjustments to suit specific lighting or subject conditions, such as backlighting or predominantly white/black subjects. This has always worked well for me as I have set my base exposure for a particular shoot using the ISO adjustment and then add exp. comp. on top of that as needed during the job. I generally bracket the more important static shots at two thirds anyway so have never really had exposure problems.
