I'm looking for a small, light zoom lens in this range and would still like better optical performance than most of the consumer zoom lenses if possible. I did read about this one a few years ago and saw some favourable reports of its performance saying it was better than the other non-L zooms but I haven't been able to find anything at all about it when I searched today. Can anyone who has used it give me any info about its optical performance?
