Chip,
it appears that the xs-drive is equipped with USB 1.1 only, that why I wanted to know which models do have USB 2.0.
I know firewire is pretty fast too. But my latest experiences with firewire and Windows have not been pleasant.
I used a firewire cardreader until a while ago, with good success and decent speed, until my Windows crashed and it wouldn't work anymore since. (I have tried many things short of reinstalling the Windows, I even returned the device for an exchange - the new device worked for a couple days after hardware detection (new ID?), then another Windows crash, and it again doesn't work anymore ...)
