we tested this issue just now. We ordered skydiving rigs from the stated. And the 
_only_ way to get arround high customs was that we agreed with the company that they 
put the invoices for less money. So, they ship the stuff with the lower price tag on 
them. The downfall is, that if the stuff gets lost, then you are only insured for that 
price tag, not the whole thing. That's the risk, my friend.

OTOH, you could go on a trip to the states and buy it there and bring it with you as 
your personal equipment -- or someone else, who is going to the states.
