Not to complain as I think B&H is a good thing, but this can be a little inconvenient for international orders. I only ordered a CF card with my tripod head and bag as the extra freight would obviously be insignificant, however, the card has been sent as a seperate package and will result in about $50 extra cost to me which I hadn't anticipated.
You are mistaken. Our s&h fees, domestic & international, depend on the order's weight, value, destination and shipping method. If we elect to maintain multiple shipping locations we do not penalize the consumer. Your recent order, in toto, weighed 4 lbs and had a value of (you know the number and it's no one else's business). The TOTAL shipping/handling fee for your order was 51.00. By your math you paid <about $50 extra> which would mean that without the second shipping location we'd have charged you a s&h fee to the other side of the globe of $1.00. No way. :-)
