This is why more and more sellers are putting semi
transparent "signatures" over portions of the object
for sale, not just an empty white portion in the
corner.  It's not foolproof but reduces the problem
substantually.

Ever notice how many lenses, etc. are sold on ebay
with the B&H logo over the front?  B&H's system is
much more sophisticated in that the signature is
somehow embedded in the image and a web search program
something like Google actually goes out and scans the
entire web for people using the images in an
unauthorized manner.
