Chip, Again, that is a big Europe/USA difference. Once I damaged my matte glass and tried to order one from Canon. I called the main repair facility centre for the Benelux (Rosendael, NL) and they bounced me back to my local dealer. The price for the piece was more expensive than sending the camera to the repair centre and letting them do it, but it took 4 weeks to have my camera back. I haven't asked yet how much it is to change the LCD glass, but pretty sure it takes the d****m 3-4 weeks turnaround time. So, if it's not for the money, I'd like to protect my LCD for the *time* that it eventually will save. regards, Gerard. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
