Well, it's kind of slow here lately, so I'll post something :-) I was going through all my 10D photos and picking out the best of them, and reconverting using Capture One LE, which I just bought. I made 16 bit TIF files and full screen JPG files.
Then, I got down to the in camera JPG files I'd shot early on. Was it ever depressing to realize that, indeed there is no way to adjust the quality even close to a RAW conversion. Some, which were a tad overexposed, were practically useless. Yes, I lost some great images, but not that many, I was lucky. The moral of the story is, don't ever shoot in JPG unless you really really don't care about the photos. Now to take my CD to get some Frontier prints made...
