You misunderstand. It's not the speed of conversion, but the speed of
preview update to see if you like the changes you just made. It takes
so long it's not worth bothering. Capture ONE LE does convert a bit
faster, but it still does takes some time. Fortunately, while
converting, you can continue working on the next image in C1LE. So it
converts in the background of the program.

Oh no, I didn't misunderstand at all. I had to do a change in color temp, sharpness and then a conversion from RAW to TIF for all 30 files. I took nearly an entire day! At least with C1LE I can see the results of a change without the program having to go through and change the whole file for every little adjustment.
