Hi all, I've had very much fun with my 10D and 17-40L. This has been a great combination and I can recommend it to all.
I have found it interesting that the this combination produces images which are much sharper than with other EF lenses. I barely need to use USM (or it adds very little). With my other lenses on this body (incl 28-135IS, 100-400L and sigma 70-200EX) I find I need to apply more USM to get the usual "zing" in photos I need. Are other people noticing this?
