Ok, the color temperature was there... good!

I still miss this a little... But I've now learned to use the C1 and I
really think it's a great program. I like the sharpening a lot and the color
cast correction is also very easy to use (although, I seem to end up with
oversaturated unnatural looking colors like in photo.net too easily :-). But
the thing that I'm really missing is sort of undo. If I have some hard image
(needs lot's of corrections specially to the colors and curves), then I'd
like to be able to go back and fort with 2 (at least) different settings.
Now I can do first the initial setting and develop/export to ps, and then do
other settings and export that too. Then in photoshop, I can view them side
by side and see which one is better. But now, if the first one is better, I
do need to remember all the settings I used for that as C1 only remembers
the settings for the 2nd try... Of course, I can save all the settings to
the different files, but saving and loading them is too hard. Simple
(multilevel) undo would get me back to the 1st version. And I guess that is
why I thought I liked the Canon presets, as those were much easier to use
(and as in the Canon software the curves tool was broken...).

And, the color balance thing... well it seems that I will have to do them
from picture to picture... there I would have loved to see something easy to
use control (dropdown menu) for changing the saturation and other properties
of color space to some presets. Maybe I'll figure something around it. After
all, I have only borrowed 1Ds, and will not be getting the registered
version of this program yet (as I really do not need it yet... let them
develop it some more...)

Continue with your discussion... I'll reply to myself in private next time
;-)

Best regards,
    Hugo.
