Sure, and add on the price of a truly excellent scanner and the price of a 10D starts to look good. You will need a really good scanner to even come close to the shots from a 300D or 10D. The shots from a 300D should look essentially the same as a 10D's shots. If you have a certain subject matter you'd like to see, I will put up a full frame JPG on the web for you to see a 10D image. If you check my website, most shots on it were taken with a 10D.
