Hey Anastasios!

I just bought the 300D in the states. I am also owner of EOS 30 and 3000. I bought it
to see how it compares to film body and what the workflow looks like. Before I bought
it, I asked on a buletin board if someone would be willing to buy it in case I did not
like it -- because I expected I will sell it.

Well, I will sell it. I will sell it because it does not justify the huge cost of it.
That may differ from country to country, based on monthly wages received, but here in
Slovenia, the 300D costs one monthly paycheck.

I love being able to see histogram and to adjust ISO rating on the fly. I've traveled
California for the past two weeks and shot quite some photos. I had my film body with
me as well. Most of the pictures I shot digitally, I would not have made with film
because:
- it did not seem "interesting" enough
- because I did not have ISO 800 or higher film on me.

The construction and feel of the body, compared even to eos 3000, is not better. EOS
300D is flimsy built -- EOS 10D is much better in that respect.

Then, as someone already mentioned, with film, you drop it off, and get the
prints/slides back. With digital, it is hours in front of the computer manipulating
images, burning them, etc... And here in Slovenia, digital prints are more expensive
than prints from negative film.

My view on all this is:
- I will sell the digital rebel although I like it a lot, really, because of its price
- I will probably buy digital SLR in a year or two, when prices drop significantly
- And I like to project my slides on the wall. ;))

Kindest regards,
        Miha.
