I take it you've not used a modern high tech does everything but the dishes
SLR?  As far as I know, and I've asked the same question and had it asked
numerous times, your are stuck with 36 on a 36 exp roll.  At least that will
be consistent.  When I was using a non automated camera, sometimes,
depending on how I threaded the leader, I could get as many as 38 images on
a 36 exp roll, and as few as 35.  Now, it's 36, come hell or high water.
