I've got a photographer on another forum saying to stay away from canon flash (420ex specifically) . He says that it's a firmware issue with the digital rebel. and that canons e-ttl doesn't expose properly. he recommends a Metz flash using the on flash sensor rather than e-ttl. I'm a new photographer, so I can't really comment. Any thoughts on this?. thanks Andy
