Hi!
I am trying to figure out my workflow for digital images as I go, but was wondering
what everybody else does. I sense that each photographer has her/his own, but I'd be
nice to hear it. Of course, with digital EOS equipment...
What I am currently doing:
- I transfer the images to my hard drive (they are in directories with shooting_date)
- If they are raw, I convert some to jpegs
- If I modify the files, I leave the original intact -- I add _1 to the file name.
- I do not change the names of the files, so they are XXXXX.jpg (X being a number)
- I burn a CD with my images on it (on a semi-regular basis) and then create an index
(file listing) of all the files on the CD and store it in a file.
