Does someone know of somebody has opened an iPod (Apple) and used the Microdrive in a camera? A MuVo can't be found.
The full-size (10,20,30,40) iPods use a pretty large drive. Smaller than 2.5" but bigger than microdrives.
Correct. iPods use 1.8" hard drives. Laptops use 2.5" drives. iPod minis use 1" drives.
But before you take that drive out of your iPod mini, have a look at:

What I'm really excited about is the $99 media card reader for the iPod. I have a 40 gigabyte iPod so it makes a handy portable storage device. The Microdrives are fragile, it's much better to shoot to a 1 gigabyte CF and then upload to a drive.
The Belkin interface is nifty. Shame it operates at a slower speed than one might like. (ie: not FireWire speeds)
