really? was this the 200 2.8l mkII? I use this on a 300d and the results are fantastic, it's got all the sharpness and great color rendition that it has on an eos5, it has been and still is my favourute EF lens. I do agree with someone elses comment regarding the 28-135is being shown up, what is most noticeable is the distortion and softness at the 28mm end that is less apparent when used with a film body.
