Thank you all for your input. FWIW, the only lens that has ever been
attached to my Canon 10D is the Canon 28-135IS lens. What is the best thing
to clean the contacts with? I will try the reset of all functions and see if
that helps. Once again, thank you all for your help. It's a nice intro to
the list:-)
