Has everything to do with ease of use. Switching between different brands of cameras, with different control layouts, causes real problems when a photog is trying to shoot fast. Most PJs and sport photogs use multiple bodies at one time, each with a different lens. If I switch from one body/lens where I'm using the QCD for exposure compensation (as an example) to the Kodak body which uses a totall different control for the same fucntion, I'm hosed. Using a camera shold become intuitive after a while, but with two distinct control layouts you always have to *think* about what you're doing. And I don't really think my statements are contradictory. One, I really don't expect the Kodak to offer such dramatic advantages. Two, if it does, I could switch to Kodak completely. My point was that I don't see very many people being willing to shoot a combination of Canon and Kodak bodies. ===== Bob Meyer I wish I knew what I know now, when I was younger... http://www.meyerweb.net/epson __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
