I tried posting this but did not work earlier, but here goes again: This may be OT and I apologize for that in advance, but is there any way to tell if a retailer is considered "Canon Authorized Reseller" ?
The reason I am asking is I want to buy lens with a rebate on it and the rebate clearly mentions that the lens purchase recipt should be from "an authorized Canon U.S.A dealer or reseller": http://www.usa.canon.com/html/rebates/camerapromo/pdf/cic.pdf I don't want to end up Canon refusing the rebate because it was not purchased from "an authorized Canon U.S.A dealer or reseller" Any help would be appreciated.
