I have to agree with you.  I bought a G3 a year or 2
ago, thinking it would hold me until DSLRs got
cheaper.  Wrong.  Own a 10D now, and am glad I bought
it.  Still carry the G3 as a backup, and for when I
don't want to carry a heavy rig (to parties and that
sort of thing.)
