I'm a few years out of the business, but the Toronto labs we used, used to have top of the line Kodak film recorders that were terrific. We used to get 8 by 10 digital negs done and they would also do 35mm slides for about 3 bucks each. I had some done and under a 10x loupe it was really hard to tell they were digital. I'd guess that they would have projected very well too. You may be right though, this type of business is shrinking. I don't know about 95 percent though. I think every large city should have several labs that still have good film recorders. -- Need a brighter headlight the safe way?
