Paul, here's my take from a few minutes playing with one of these: Pros: Very small, elegant, almost like a piece of jewelry. Very solid feel. The picture quality is as good as any of the other Canon P&S.
Cons: Definitely a snapshot-only camera, few creative controls, fixed focal length lens which is relatively slow (39mm f/2.8) by digital standards. Very weak flash (2 meter range). Unless size is VERY important, I'd opt for one of the digital Elph models like the S410 or S500 just to have a zoom lens. Most people who only print 10x15cm prints would make the tradeoff between zoom and sharpness. Even the SD110 has a zoom and is only a bit bigger.
